With limited sessions this 2024, participate in a premium food waste up-cycling sustainability experience from one of Singapore's oldest and largest handcrafted, animal treats companies. Did you know? Today, an estimated one-third of all the food produced in the world goes to waste. Wasted food goes to the landfill and rots, producing methane, a greenhouse gas even more potent than carbon dioxide. About 6%-8% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced if we stop wasting food. Aloha's pet treats partner founded their business in 2013, and managed by female leaders, they are known for their no-preservatives treats. Having served pets ranging from dogs, cats to hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas and rabbits! Our pet treats partner has designed a series of treats that transforms ugly food such as fruits, berries and vegetables into healthy, pet treats with no sugar preservatives! Participants will get to: 1) Learn about food waste up-cycling and why food waste contributes to climate change 2) Learn more about healthy treats and snacks for your fur kids 3) Personalise your pet treats as you decorate cookies, cakes, barks, etc for your fur kids 4) Learn more in-depth baking knowledge from our expert pet bakers for your next home baking experience for your fur kids 5) Experience a one-of-a-kind sustainability experience over a paw-cation if you can!
