Service Description
We all need to eat daily hence grocery shopping is part of our lifestyles. What if we can give fabrics a second life whilst designing our own groceries bag? According to a research done in 2022 by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, extending the lifespan of clothing by just nine months can actually reduce carbon, water and waste footprint by 20–30%! So, the next time we want to throw away clothes, what if we could help reuse, refashion them into our regular grocery bags? Participants will get to: 1. Learn about the different stitches for handsewing (running stitch, back stitch etc) 2. Learn how to sew the hem of the bag 3. Learn how to repurpose a pre-loved apparel into something new and useful (Minimum 15 pax ) (Rates are not inclusive of applicable 8% GST)
