The best way to learn about sustainability is to immerse ourselves in Nature and there is no better destination than the multiple parks in Mandai Wildlife Reserve (aka home to Singapore zoo and more). Gather within the park spaces of Mandai, as you and your team unleash your creativity. Experience how repurposing of ugly food into pet treats; or up-cycling coffee grounds into your own kaffe coasters; or a unique Aloha offsite experience in an enjoyable team-building journey with your crew! Participants will get to: 1) Learn about food waste up-cycling and why food waste contributes to climate change. 2) Appreciate the value and the beauty of up-cycling. 3) Apply a close-loop process to crafting lifestyle products. 4) Understand various properties of an eco-friendly material, Jesmonite, and the various techniques and processes to create up-cycled food waste products. 5) Experience a one-of-a-kind sustainability experience as you take home personalised pet treats, or handcrafted, personalised, up-cycled kaffe coasters, etc!
